Palm Tree Incident

The one where I took a "big bus tour" in Miami and got hit in the head by a palm tree..multiple times... No family vacation is complete without at least one day of being hardcore tourists. My mom picked the Miami Big Bus Tour and dragged me off the beach to join the rest of the camera-around-the-neck tourists on this excursion. It was pretty neat seeing some of the celebrity vacation homes and secret getaways but this tour wasn't exactly pain-free. I decided this was an appropriate time to speak up. What a gem. I'm waiting on my vouchers but I'll be sure to upload them once I receive them. Below you can find a pic I snapped on my phone of my mom about to be hit in the face with a palm tree. Since I didn't want to lose my phone, the picture was taken from a lower angle and doesn't do justice on exactly how close these palm trees actually were.

Chipotle Concern

The one where I convinced my local Chipotle to extend their hours... I don't know where I'd be at in life if it weren't for Chipotle. If you're not a regular burrito/burrito bowl/even taco salad consumer, then you're not living. The only thing that I disagree with Chipotle on is their hours of operation. I sent this one to a lengthy list of people at corporate and word on the street is that it even got looked over by the CEO! Probably one of my proudest moments in college. And finally....the response I've been waiting for... Jason's the man! He ended up making a deal with me to open up at 10am for two Saturdays in November. The first one was a bust. I made the mistake of staying in the night before the opening and that was when I realized how difficult and painful it is to eat a burrito at 10am when you're perfectly sober. Ride the Rail Ridicule

The one where my friend competed in a "ride the rail" competition to finish a list of 30 beers and the bar lost her card so she had to start over.... For those of you who aren't familiar with Ride the Rail, it's a dirty marketing scheme at one of our campus bars, Legends. You are provided with an empty card that has twelve different types of beer and three mixed beers with three columns for each beer. Once completing the card, you are awarded with a tshirt and you get your name on the wall of the bar. As always, my roommates and I got incredibly addicted to this and worked toward this goal on most Tuesdays and even God's day of rest, Sundays. We always had a good time, until something happened last week. I change my mind, I love them. And dinner on the house!
