Biaggi's Bust

The one where I ordered catering for a professional event of 50 people and the catering company forgot to provide plates, napkins, and utensils.

I had to restrain from humoring myself too much in this letter as I normally do, as there was a potentially very valuable reward at stake if done correctly.  There's a very fine line that you have to walk between having a valid argument and being taken as a complete joke.  I'd also like to add that KPMG picked up the entire bill and I technically wasn't even present at the dinner.  Anyway, who's joining me for a dinner at Biaggi's on the house?

$25...big let down.  You win some, you lose some.  Oh well.

Alma Mater Mayhem

The one where I finally graduated college and my university removed the historical "graduation picture" statue.... For those of you who don't attend U of I, the Alma Mater was removed from campus this year for renovations and repairs.  As graduation approached, we were informed that she would not return in time which caused an uproar, as it's the iconic place to take your picture in a cap and gown.   Got my response!   The letter caught her attention (she CC'd the Dean of the College of Business and the Event Director of the Alumni Association).  We'll see what they plan for this alma mater event.

It must have been the fact that the beer was warm that made me think it was stale.  Even though I was wrong, I wasn't going to give up that easily. And for the win... Free beer and a hat!!!

Chipotle Concern

The one where I convinced my local Chipotle to extend their hours... I don't know where I'd be at in life if it weren't for Chipotle.  If you're not a regular burrito/burrito bowl/even taco salad consumer, then you're not living.  The only thing that I disagree with Chipotle on is their hours of operation.  I sent this one to a lengthy list of people at corporate and word on the street is that it even got looked over by the CEO!  Probably one of my proudest moments in college. And finally....the response I've been waiting for... Jason's the man!  He ended up making a deal with me to open up at 10am for two Saturdays in November.  The first one was a bust.  I made the mistake of staying in the night before the opening and that was when I realized how difficult and painful it is to eat a burrito at 10am when you're perfectly sober.  He decided to make it a little interesting and raised the ...
